Who we are and how can you contact us?  

We are a campaign group (no formal name) campaigning to save New Mills Leisure Centre Facilities. We are a group of individuals (all leisure centre users) who have informally joined forces to put pressure on High Peak Borough Council to find out, listen to, and respect the needs of the real users of New Mills Leisure Centre. Why do we need your information? 

We only collect information volunteered by website visitors in order to be able to contact them with updates about the ‘Save New Mills Leisure Centre Facilities’ campaign. For example we plan to contact people when the High Peak Borough Council announces their consultation so that they can fully participate.

How do we collect your information? 

We will ask for your consent to send you updates.  

We only collect personal information that enables us to email you (name and email address).

We will ensure your data is only used for the purpose it was requested and warrant your data is stored securely.  

How do we use your information? 

To provide you with email updates about the ‘Save New Mills Leisure Centre Facilities’ campaign.

How do we store your information and for how long? 

We store your data securely behind a password protected website platform. When you submit your personal data, you agree to its storing or processing. We make sure to take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. 

Your information is kept for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.  

Do you share my information with anyone else? 

Only administrators of our website with the highest administrative level will be able to access your data. Administrators will only use your data for sending emails.

How can I change, delete or ask to see my information? 

If you want to stop receiving our emails, you can opt out at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our emails.
